Well, its that time of the year again...
I don't know why I have some sort of weird fascination with anything scary, including some of the new new horror movies such as 28 Weeks Later and Grindhouse, but this fascination makes this time of the year my personal favorite. The smell of rain, the breeze that carries leaves from the trees gently to the ground, the refreshing cool air that we have waited for all summer, and little kids dressed as random Disney characters or cute little animals. Personally, when I was little, I enjoyed dressing as Indiana Jones and Dr. Peter Venkman. The way I see it, Halloween is an opportunity for those who are usually calm and reserved to show their true colors (this can vary greatly based on sex) and blame it on the nature of the holiday. Oh, and you can't forget Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Who doesn't enjoy a nice turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, asparagus, cornbread, and all the other delicious treats that I can't think of right now? And right after Thanksgiving comes Christmas, and even though you end up buying gifts for people you generally don't even enjoy talking to, Christmas is another great holiday to enjoy. Anyway, on to the artwork...
